Help Us Protect Akaroa's Character
Why Your Membership Matters
Founded in 1969 by local residents, the Akaroa Civic Trust has been the primary guardian of Akaroa’s historic character for more than 55 years. We work with Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga, the Christchurch City Council, and Members of Parliament on issues that affect this town and its irreplaceable heritage.
“After more than fifty years, the Akaroa Civic Trust continues its work to preserve the historic character of the town. We need your help and support as a member.”
